Cable SCART a SCART ShiverPeaks 96031 — conexión AV analógica, conector SCART a conector SCART

The Scart to Scart Cable ShiverPeaks 96031 is a 5.0 m analog AV connection cable with Scart male-to-male connectors designed for straightforward audio and video transmission between Scart-equipped devices. It provides a single-cable solution for composite video, RGB (where supported by connected equipment) and stereo audio pass-through without digital conversion. The cable features overall shielding to reduce interference and is intended for household interconnection of older TVs, DVD players, set-top boxes and VCRs.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks 96031 cable combines a long 5.0 m length with Scart male-to-male connectors for flexible placement of devices in a typical living-room setup. Overall shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference and helps maintain stable analog picture and stereo sound quality across the cable run. Its single-cable design simplifies connection of legacy AV equipment without the need for multiple separate leads.

Suitable for

• Connecting older televisions to DVD players or set-top boxes
• Linking VCRs to TVs or monitors with Scart inputs
• Home AV setups requiring a single analog cable for picture and stereo sound
• Temporary or permanent connections where a 5.0 m cable length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Connector type: Scart male to Scart male
• Cable length: 5.0 m
• Signal type: Analog AV (video and stereo audio)
• Shielding: Overall shielding for improved interference resistance
• Audio channels: Stereo

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before making connections. Insert each Scart male connector firmly into the Scart socket of the respective devices until secure. Power on the devices and select the appropriate AV input on the television or monitor. The cable carries analog video and stereo audio signals directly; if RGB output or specific signal modes are required, verify that both connected devices support those modes and have matching settings.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as power transformers, fluorescent lighting or Wi‑Fi routers, and avoid sharp bends. Use the 5.0 m length to position equipment with adequate spacing while keeping connectors seated firmly to maintain reliable analog signal transmission.
