Cable USB 2.0 Type-A macho / Type-B macho beige 2 m InLine 34518H

InLine USB 2.0 cable Type A male to Type B male, 2 m, beige. The cable supports High Speed USB 2.0 data transfer up to 480 Mbit/s and is backward compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 1.0 devices. It is intended for connecting peripherals such as printers, scanners and other USB devices that use a Type B port.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable data transmission at USB 2.0 High Speed (480 Mbit/s) and ensures compatibility with older USB 1.1/1.0 devices. Its 2 m length offers flexibility in device placement, while the standard Type A to Type B connectors fit common peripheral ports. The neutral beige colour makes it unobtrusive in office and home environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers to PCs
• Connecting scanners to computers
• Linking external USB devices with Type B ports (e.g., some audio interfaces, hubs, multifunction devices)
• Replacing or extending existing USB A–B connections up to 2 m

How to use

Insert the USB A (male) connector into the host device (for example a computer or laptop) and the USB B (male) connector into the peripheral device (for example a printer or scanner). Ensure both devices are powered on and recognised by the operating system; install drivers if required. Disconnect by gently pulling the connector bodies — do not tug the cable itself.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for distances up to 2 m and avoid sharp bends or kinks. Keep connectors clean and store the cable coiled without tight stress. When connecting older USB 1.1/1.0 devices, expect lower data rates consistent with those standards.
