How to use

Connect the Type A male plug to the host device (PC, laptop or hub) and insert the Type B male plug into the peripheral device such as a printer or scanner. Ensure both devices are powered on and recognised by the operating system. For optimal performance, use this cable with USB 2.0 ports to achieve the maximum transfer rate; when connected to USB 1.1 or 1.0 ports, the transfer speed will be limited to those standards.

Recommendations

To maintain reliable data transfer, avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable and keep the connectors free from dust. For cable routing in office environments, secure the cable to prevent mechanical strain on the connectors.
