Cable USB-C a HDMI QOLTEC 50438 — 2 m, 4K 60 Hz

QOLTEC 50438 is a 2-metre USB-C to HDMI cable designed to transmit video and audio from USB-C devices with DisplayPort Alternate Mode to HDMI displays. The cable supports up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz, providing a direct wired connection to TVs, monitors and projectors without the need for separate adapters. Its fixed 2 m length offers reach for desktop setups, meeting rooms and home entertainment arrangements where a stable, low-latency connection is required.

Advantages

The cable delivers 4K@60Hz video and stereo audio over a single connection, ensuring compatibility with HDMI-equipped displays. Its USB-C connector uses the device’s native video output, eliminating additional converter boxes. A 2-metre jacket gives greater placement flexibility while keeping signal integrity for typical consumer and office distances. The design is plug-and-play with no driver installation needed on most modern operating systems that support USB-C video output.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, tablets or smartphones with USB-C video output to HDMI TVs and monitors
• Displaying presentations on projectors in meeting rooms and classrooms
• Streaming video and movies to an HDTV or external monitor
• Extending or mirroring a computer screen for multitasking or content creation

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Supported video resolution: up to 3840 × 2160 (4K) at 60 Hz
• Connector A: USB-C (with DisplayPort Alternate Mode support required on source device)
• Connector B: HDMI (standard Type A)
• Audio support: stereo and multichannel via HDMI
• Plug-and-play operation; no external power or drivers typically required

How to use

Connect the USB-C end to a compatible source device that supports video output via DisplayPort Alternate Mode, and plug the HDMI end into the display’s HDMI input. Select the corresponding HDMI input on the display and configure the source device’s display settings if needed to choose mirroring or extended desktop, and set the preferred resolution and refresh rate. When connected, the cable carries both video and audio, so set the audio output on the source device to the HDMI display if sound is required.

Recommendations

Use the cable within its specified length to maintain signal quality. Ensure the source device explicitly supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video; if the device lacks that support, a passive cable will not provide a video signal. For stable 4K@60Hz performance, confirm that both the source device and the HDMI display support the resolution and refresh rate. Avoid sharp bends and heavy strain at the connectors to prolong the cable’s service life.
