Cable USB DeLOCK 85379 USB 3.2 Gen 1 5 m USB A USB B negro

The DeLOCK 85379 active USB cable with integrated signal amplifier connects devices with a USB Type-B female port to a PC or laptop with a USB Type-A port. The 5 m black cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as USB 3.1 Gen 1) with data transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s. The signal amplifier includes an additional DC power socket for connecting an optional external power supply when needed.

Advantages

The cable provides stable high-speed data transmission over a 5 m distance thanks to the built-in signal amplifier. It is compatible with USB A and USB B ports and supports the USB 3.2 Gen 1 specification (5 Gbit/s). The integrated DC power socket allows the use of an external power adapter to improve signal reliability for power-sensitive devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers, scanners or external drives with USB Type-B to a PC or laptop
• Extending USB connections where a passive 5 m cable would reduce signal quality
• Use cases requiring optional external power to stabilise the connection

How to use

Connect the USB A plug to the computer or laptop and the USB B plug to the target device (for example, printer, scanner or external drive). If the connected device requires additional power or the signal needs reinforcement, plug an appropriate DC power adapter into the amplifier's DC socket. Ensure both ends are fully inserted to establish a reliable USB 3.2 Gen 1 connection.

Recommendations

For reliable operation at the full 5 Gbit/s rate over the 5 m length, use the cable with devices and host ports that support USB 3.2 Gen 1. If you experience unstable connections with power-hungry peripherals, use a compatible external DC power supply connected to the amplifier’s power socket.
