Cable USB GIRA 090300 USB 2.0 3 m USB A USB B gris

The GIRA 090300 USB cable is a 3-meter USB 2.0 lead with a USB A male connector on one end and a USB B male connector on the other. Finished in grey, the cable is intended for wired connections between computers and peripherals such as printers and scanners, providing a physical link for data transfer and device communication at USB 2.0 signaling rates.

Advantages

The 3 m length offers extended reach for desktop and office setups where devices are not colocated, while USB 2.0 compatibility ensures broad support across many computers and peripherals. The USB A to USB B connector pair is a common standard for printers and other stationary devices, enabling straightforward plug-and-play connections without additional adapters. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates with standard office equipment.

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered according to their manufacturer instructions. Insert the USB A male connector into the computer or host device's USB A port, and insert the USB B male connector into the peripheral device's USB B receptacle. After connecting, allow the operating system to detect and install any necessary drivers; once detection completes, use the peripheral as normal for data transfer or device control. Disconnect by safely removing the device in software if required by the operating system, then unplug the cable.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid running the cable near high-power electrical equipment or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Route the cable to prevent sharp bends and reduce strain on connectors; use the 3 m length to position devices comfortably while maintaining a secure connection. USB 2.0 supports typical printer and scanner data rates, but for higher-speed peripherals consider checking device compatibility with newer USB standards.
