Cable USB Lindy 3m USB 3.2 Gen 2 C/C activo

The Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 2 Active Cable is an active USB extension cable that increases the connection distance between USB devices by an additional 3 m. It integrates active electronics to preserve high-speed data transfer up to 10 Gbps, supports DisplayPort 1.4 Alternate Mode and combines data, video and USB Power Delivery in a single USB Type-C cable. The cable is compatible with USB 3.2 Type-C and Thunderbolt 3/4 hosts and is suitable for extending connections for laptops, MacBooks, large format displays and touch panels in meeting rooms and classrooms.

Advantages

This active USB cable extends cable length without sacrificing high-speed transfer rates and supports video transmission via DisplayPort Alternate Mode. It provides Power Delivery up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A), is plug-and-play for quick installation and is compatible with a wide range of USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3/4 devices.

Key specifications

• Cable type: USB 3.2 Gen 2 active extension (USB Type-C)
• Extension length: 3 m
• Maximum data rate: up to 10 Gbps (when using DP 1.2)
• DisplayPort support: DP 1.4 Alternate Mode (note: when sending DP 1.4 signals only USB 2.0 up to 480 Mbps is supported)
• Video resolution support: up to 4K @ 60 Hz when using DP 1.2
• Power Delivery: up to 60 W (20 V / 3 A)
• Compatibility: USB 3.2 Type-C and Thunderbolt 3/4 equipped computers

How to use

Connect the cable between the host device (laptop or computer with USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4) and the target device (display, docking station or peripheral). The integrated active electronics automatically boost the signal to maintain data and video integrity. For DP 1.4 video transmission the cable will downshift USB data to USB 2.0 speeds; to achieve USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbps while transmitting video, use DP 1.2 mode and a compatible display supporting 4K @ 60 Hz. No drivers are required for basic operation.

Recommendations

Use the Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 2 Active Cable for extending connections where combined data, video and up to 60 W power are required. Verify the display’s supported DisplayPort alternate mode and chosen video mode (DP 1.2 vs DP 1.4) to ensure the desired balance between video quality and USB data throughput.
