Cable USB ShiverPeaks BS13-38020 1 m USB A USB C gris

The ShiverPeaks BS13-38020 1m USB A to USB C cable in grey provides high-speed wired connectivity for devices equipped with USB A or USB C ports. Supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 (also referred to as USB 3.1 Gen 2), the cable enables data transfer rates up to 10 Gbit/s while maintaining a compact 1 metre length suitable for desktop and mobile use. Gold-plated contact surfaces are used on the connector pins to improve contact reliability and resist corrosion. The neutral grey jacket offers a discreet, professional appearance that fits most setups.

Advantages

The cable combines USB 3.2 Gen 2 performance with a standard USB A to USB C connection, allowing high-speed file transfers, fast device synchronization and charging where supported. Gold-plated contacts increase durability and stable signal transmission. The 1 m length balances reach and reduced cable clutter for everyday use.

Suitable for

• Connecting external SSDs, HDDs and high-speed storage to a computer with USB A
• Data transfer between laptops and USB C devices that accept host-side connections
• Charging and syncing smartphones, tablets and peripherals when device supports power delivery over USB
• Desk setups where a reliable, medium-length cable is needed for peripherals

Key specifications

• Connector types: USB A (male) to USB C (male)
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s)
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 10 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector contact plating: gold-plated contacts for improved corrosion resistance
• Colour: grey

How to use

Insert the USB A connector into the host device’s USB A port and the USB C connector into the target device’s USB C port. Ensure both devices are powered on and compatible with the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard to achieve the highest data transfer speeds. For charging, verify the target device supports charging via the USB port in use; charging speed depends on the power source and device capabilities. Avoid forcing connectors into ports and unplug by holding the connector body rather than pulling on the cable.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal performance, keep connectors free of dust and debris, avoid sharp bends near the ends of the cable, and disconnect the cable when not in use. For sustained high-speed transfers, use with devices and hosts that explicitly support the USB 3.2 Gen 2 specification and quality USB ports that provide stable power delivery.
