Cable USB ShiverPeaks BS13-39055 5 m USB 3.2 Gen 1 Negro

The ShiverPeaks BS13-39055 5m USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable is a full-size USB A to USB A lead designed for extended-reach connections between compatible devices. Built to support USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfer rates, this black cable provides a single-cable solution for high-speed data transmission over longer distances without changing connector types. The cable’s length and connector style make it suitable for desktop setups, peripheral connections and situations where a standard short cable would be restrictive.

Advantages

The cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 data throughput, enabling faster file transfers compared with USB 2.0 while maintaining backwards compatibility with older USB hosts and devices. Its 5-metre length offers flexible placement of devices and peripherals while the symmetrical USB A to USB A configuration simplifies direct connections between compatible modules. The black jacket gives a neutral appearance that fits most workspaces and AV arrangements.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB A-equipped peripherals over longer distances
• Data transfer between computers, hubs and compatible external devices
• Home office and workstation cable routing where extra reach is required
• Temporary or fixed AV set-ups that use USB A connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A to USB A
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (backwards compatible with USB 2.0/1.1)
• Length: 5 metres
• Color: Black
• Primary use: High-speed data transfer over extended cable length

How to use

Insert each USB A connector firmly into the corresponding USB A ports of the devices to be connected. Ensure both devices support host-to-device or peer connections as required by your workflow; some USB A to A connections require one device to be configured as a host. Avoid forcing connectors and confirm secure seating to maintain proper data transfer. For best performance, use with devices and ports that support USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds.

Recommendations

Position the cable to avoid sharp bends and sustained compression; maintain gentle curves to preserve signal integrity. If you experience reduced transfer rates, verify that both connected ports support USB 3.2 Gen 1 and check for driver or host limitations. For critical or powered device chains, use appropriate powered hubs or follow manufacturer guidance to prevent power-related problems.
