Cable USB ShiverPeaks BS13-47150 1,5 m USB 3.2 Gen 2

The ShiverPeaks BS13-47150 USB cable is a 1.5 metre USB C to USB C data cable that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (also described as USB 3.1 Gen 2) with a maximum theoretical data transfer rate of 20 Gbit/s. Both ends use USB-C connectors with gold-plated contact surfaces for improved contact reliability and reduced corrosion. The cable is finished in grey and is intended for high-speed data transfer between compatible devices that accept USB-C connections.

Advantages

This cable provides high-speed data transfer in a compact, reversible USB-C form factor, enabling fast file transfers and device-to-device connections. Gold-plated contacts contribute to longer-term contact stability and lower contact resistance. The 1.5 m length balances reach and cable management, suitable for desktop and mobile setups. Compliance with USB 3.2 Gen 2 signalling ensures compatibility with devices supporting this standard for enhanced throughput.

Suitable for

• Transferring large files between laptops, external drives and compatible hosts
• Connecting USB-C monitors or docks that accept high-speed data lanes
• Linking modern smartphones, tablets and laptops with USB-C ports for data sync
• Use in home or office workstations where a 1.5 m cable length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB C on both ends
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2)
• Maximum data rate: 20 Gbit/s (theoretical)
• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Colour: Grey
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts

How to use

Insert each USB-C connector into the corresponding USB-C ports on your devices until they seat firmly. Ensure connected devices support USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve the listed maximum throughput; otherwise, data rates will fall back to the highest mutually supported USB standard. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable to prevent tight knots or crushing. The reversible USB-C connectors eliminate orientation concerns during insertion.

Recommendations

For consistent high-speed performance, connect devices that both support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and use high-quality host controllers or ports. Keep the cable away from sharp edges and high-temperature sources, and inspect gold-plated contacts periodically for debris to maintain reliable connections.
