Caja de empalme de fibra óptica Rutenbeck Basic Line 12xSC-D OM4

Rutenbeck Basic Line 12xSC-D OM4 splice box is a compact fiber optic termination and splicing enclosure designed for structured cabling applications. It accepts up to twelve SC duplex connectors on OM4 multimode fiber and provides secure, organized locations for splices and connectorized terminations. The enclosure is intended for building- and floor-distribution, server rooms, wiring closets and other indoor installations where protected, accessible fiber connections are required.

Advantages

The splice box offers a space-efficient design that groups up to 12 SC-D terminations in a single enclosure while keeping fiber bend radii controlled. Internal cable management secures incoming and outgoing fibers and provides dedicated splice trays for protection and orderly storage. The unit supports OM4 multimode fiber performance characteristics and simplifies later re-termination or connector replacement without disturbing other connections.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a suitable indoor surface or inside a network cabinet using the recommended mounting points. Route incoming and outgoing fiber cables through the designated entry glands, secure the cables to strain-relief points, and prepare fibers for fusion or mechanical splicing following standard fiber handling procedures. Place splices into the provided splice trays and store excess fiber loops to preserve bend radius. Terminate connectors into the SC duplex adapter panel and verify connections with appropriate fiber test equipment before placing the cover back on.

Recommendations

Handle OM4 multimode fibers with clean tools and appropriate protective measures. Maintain specified minimum bend radii and use strain relief for all cable entries. Verify insertion loss and continuity after installation, and label each connector location to simplify future maintenance and expansion.
