How to use

Mount the camera at a stable location that provides the planned field of view, observing the recommended distance and angles for identification and detection. Connect the device to a network switch or NVR using a Cat5e/Cat6 cable; power it via PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or an external 12 V DC supply if PoE is not available. Configure network settings and enable ONVIF or manufacturer API access through the web-based management interface. Set video parameters such as resolution, frame rate, bit rate control, WDR and IR behavior, and configure motion detection or the intrusion/line crossing analytics to match the monitored area. Insert a microSD card (up to 512 GB) if local recording is required and format it via the camera’s storage settings.

Recommendations

Place the camera so that the most important scene elements (entrances, lanes, high-value areas) are within the optimal detection and identification distances. Use PoE for simplified cabling and ensure proper sealing of cable entries to maintain IP67 protection. Regularly check firmware updates and configure secure passwords and IP address filtering to reduce network access risks. For long-term archival, combine local microSD storage with network VMS or NVR recording to ensure redundancy.
