Cámara de seguridad IP UBIQUITI UVC-G6-Pro-Turret-B – 3840×2160, CMOS de 1/1,2″, zoom óptico 2,36×, PoE+, montaje en techo/pared, interior/exterior

The Ubiquiti UVC-G6-Pro-Turret-B is an all-weather, tamper-resistant 4K PoE+ IP security camera with a large 1/1.2" CMOS sensor and 2.36× optical zoom. Designed for indoor and outdoor installations, the turret-style camera supports ceiling or wall mounting and wired Power-over-Ethernet for video, power, and network connectivity. The sensor size and Multi-TOPS AI engine improve low-light clarity and enable long-range IR night vision.

Advantages

The camera provides 3840×2160 (4K) resolution combined with a 1/1.2" CMOS sensor for detailed daytime and low-light imaging. PoE+ simplifies installation by delivering power and data over a single Ethernet cable, while the tamper-resistant, weatherproof design (IP66, IK04) suits external use. A 2.36× optical zoom and a wide range of pan/tilt coverage deliver flexible monitoring options, and onboard AI processing reduces bandwidth and improves event detection.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and entrance monitoring for homes and businesses
• Parking lots and driveway surveillance
• Small to medium retail and office premises
• Indoor common areas such as lobbies and corridors

When it may not be suitable

This turret camera is not intended for covert applications where a discreet, miniature form factor is required; its design is visible and deliberately tamper-resistant. Extremely long-range surveillance beyond the specified IR range and optical zoom may require specialized long-range lenses or PTZ units.

Key specifications

• Image sensor: 1/1.2" CMOS, 8 MP (3840×2160)
• Optical zoom: 2.36×
• Night vision: IR up to 40 m
• Mounting: ceiling or wall (turret form factor)
• Network: wired Ethernet with PoE+ support
• Weather and impact rating: IP66, IK04
• Color: black
• Weight: 1.2 kg

How to use

Mount the camera on a ceiling or wall using appropriate anchors for the mounting surface, route a single Ethernet cable to provide power and network via PoE+, and connect to a UniFi Protect or compatible NVR / controller. Use the management software to configure resolution, viewing angles, AI detection settings, and night-vision parameters. Regularly check housing seals and cable glands to maintain weatherproofing.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure PoE+ (802.3at) compatibility on your switch or midspan injector
• Confirm mounting surface and appropriate hardware for outdoor use
• Evaluate required coverage area to determine if 2.36× optical zoom and 40 m IR meet range needs
• Plan network bandwidth and storage for 4K video streams

Recommendations

For best results, position the camera to minimise direct exposure to bright lights and aim slightly downward for entrance or perimeter coverage; enable AI features in UniFi Protect to reduce false alerts and configure recording quality based on available bandwidth and storage.
