Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, use surge protection on the network and power lines when installing outdoors, maintain periodic firmware updates via Dahua tools, and choose a microSD card rated for continuous video recording. Position the camera to avoid direct sun glare into the lens and schedule regular cleaning of the housing and optics.
