Cámara de vigilancia IP Foscam R8M blanca – 8 MP 4K (3840×2160), lente de cristal de 2,8 mm, 350° horizontal / 150° vertical, Wi-Fi 2,4G/5G, microSD hasta 256GB

Foscam R8M is an indoor IP security camera with an 8 MP high‑resolution CMOS sensor and a maximum 4K (3840×2160) resolution. The camera has a 2.8 mm glass lens with an F1.6 aperture, supports 350° horizontal and 150° vertical rotation and includes 360° microwave radar and night vision with IR illumination up to 8 m. It supports people and animal detection, two‑way audio with built‑in microphone and speaker, and stores footage on a microSD card up to 256 GB or via network connection.

Advantages

The camera provides high-resolution 4K video, wide pan/tilt coverage and multiple detection modes (human and animal), enabling comprehensive indoor monitoring. Dual-band 2.4G/5G Wi‑Fi and RJ45 (10/100 Mbps) connectivity ensure flexible network setup, while triple video streams and H.264+ compression optimize bandwidth and storage. Compact freestanding spherical design in white and low power consumption (typical 10 W) simplify placement and operation.

Suitable for

• Home indoor monitoring (living rooms, nurseries, hallways)
• Small office or retail surveillance
• Monitoring pets and family members

How to use

Place the freestanding camera on a stable indoor surface where the desired coverage area is within the 350° horizontal and 150° vertical viewing range. Connect the camera to a 5V/2.0A power supply. Configure network access using either dual‑band Wi‑Fi (2.4G/5G) or the RJ45 Ethernet port (10/100 Mbps). Insert a microSD card for local recording if required. Use the manufacturer app or a supported browser on Windows, Mac OS, iOS or Android to complete setup, enable detection modes, adjust pan/tilt limits, and manage recording and alerts.

Recommendations

For reliable detection and clear image quality, position the camera at a moderate height with unobstructed view of the monitored area, keep firmware up to date, and use a microSD card of recommended speed class for continuous recording. In low light, enable infrared mode; ensure the camera is used indoors within specified temperature and humidity ranges.
