Cámara de vigilancia IP Hikvision Turbo HD DS-2CE12KF3T-LE ColorVu

The Hikvision Turbo HD DS-2CE12KF3T-LE ColorVu is a wired IP security camera in a white bullet housing designed for wall mounting and both indoor and outdoor placement. It delivers a high-resolution image at 2960 x 1665 pixels using a CMOS sensor and a 2.8 mm fixed lens with a wide horizontal field of view. The camera supports 360° rotation for flexible orientation, records at up to 30 fps, and integrates ColorVu technology to provide detailed color imaging in low-light conditions as well as conventional monochrome capture when needed.

Advantages

The camera combines a compact bullet form factor with a wide-angle 2.8 mm lens to cover large scenes while preserving image detail at 2960 x 1665 resolution. ColorVu technology and a large aperture improve visibility in low light to produce true-to-life color images after sunset or in poorly lit environments. With wired connectivity and support for wall mounting, the device offers stable video transmission and straightforward installation for fixed surveillance points. Built-in video motion detection supports automated alerting and efficient monitoring workflows.

Suitable for

• Perimeter and exterior wall surveillance for residential or commercial properties
• Indoor monitoring of entrances, corridors and retail spaces
• Areas that require color detail in low-light conditions, such as parking lots or courtyards
• Fixed camera positions where wide-angle coverage and 360° orientation are needed

How to use

Mount the camera on a stable wall surface following local installation guidelines, ensuring the lens has an unobstructed view of the target area. Connect the camera to a compatible wired network and to power according to the installation instructions supplied with the system or the recorder. Configure the camera resolution, frame rate and ColorVu settings through the recorder or management software, and orient the camera within its 360° rotation range to achieve the desired coverage. Enable video motion detection and any desired recording schedules or alerting rules in the management interface for automated monitoring.

Recommendations

Position the camera so the primary subjects are within the wide-angle field of view to maximize image detail; use the ColorVu mode for nighttime color imaging in dimly lit areas and switch to monochrome where traditional IR illumination is preferred. Regularly check mounting hardware and cable connections, and keep the lens surface clean to maintain optimal image quality.
