Cámara de vigilancia IP tipo domo ABUS PPIC54520B 4K (3840x2160) exterior con cable y sin cable montaje en pared, 4 mm, 1 lx, 85°×45°

The ABUS PPIC54520B SmartLook is an outdoor dome IP security camera that records in ultra-high 4K resolution (3840 x 2160). Designed for wall mounting in weather-exposed locations, it offers night vision, both wired and wireless network connectivity, and built‑in intelligent motion classification to reduce false alerts. The camera includes an exchangeable microSD card and works with the App2Cam Plus mobile app for setup, live view and notifications.

Advantages

The camera provides clear 4K images day and night with IR night vision up to 10 m and a CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of 8 megapixels. It supports flexible installation via Wi‑Fi (2.4 / 5 GHz) or Ethernet and is weatherproof (IP66) for reliable outdoor use. Intelligent detection automatically differentiates people, animals and vehicles and sends targeted push notifications; privacy zones and recording without sound help meet data protection requirements. All app functions, pre‑recording and over‑the‑air updates are available without subscription.

Suitable for

• Home exterior surveillance (driveways, entrances, gardens)
• Small business outdoor monitoring (storefronts, loading areas)
• Users who need high-resolution recordings for identification
• Installations requiring flexible network options (Wi‑Fi or wired)

When it may not be suitable

This dome camera records without audio and focuses on image-based detection; if synchronized audio recording is required for your application, this model will not meet that need. Also, extremely wide panoramic coverage beyond the camera's fixed 4 mm lens field of view may require additional cameras or different optics.

Key specifications

• Image resolution: 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K / 8 MP)
• Sensor type and size: CMOS, 1/2.8" (25.4 / 2.8 mm)
• Fixed focal length: 4 mm; horizontal viewing angle approx. 85°, vertical approx. 45°
• Minimum illumination: 1 lx
• Night vision: IR up to 10 m
• Network: Wired Ethernet & Wi‑Fi (2.4 / 5 GHz); Bluetooth for setup
• Storage: exchangeable microSD card included; pre‑recording up to 5 seconds
• Protection class: IP66 (weatherproof)
• Mounting: wall; form factor: dome; colour: black

How to use

Install the dome camera on a suitable wall mount at a height and angle that covers the desired area, keeping the lens free of obstructions. Power and connect the camera via Ethernet or configure Wi‑Fi using the App2Cam Plus mobile app and Bluetooth setup guidance. Use the app to adjust motion detection sensitivity, define privacy zones or public area masking, view live streams in 4K, and access recorded clips from the included microSD card. Over‑the‑air updates are handled through the app to keep firmware current.

What to consider before purchase

• Requires a microSD card slot (card included) for local recording; consider required capacity for retention time
• No audio recording — if sound is needed, choose a model with microphone support
• For very wide coverage or narrow-angle identification, plan camera placement or additional units accordingly
• Ensure Wi‑Fi network (2.4/5 GHz) or wired Ethernet is available at the installation location

Recommendations

Mount the camera under eaves or a small shelter to reduce direct exposure to weather and keep the lens clean; set tailored detection rules in the app (people/vehicle/animal) to minimise false notifications while preserving useful alerts.
