Cámara de vigilancia IP tipo turret Dahua Technology IPC-HDW2849T-ZS-IL-27135 — 8 MP 3840×2160, PoE, montaje en techo, interior/exterior

The Dahua IPC-HDW2849T-ZS-IL-27135 is an 8 MP IP turret security camera that captures up to 3840 × 2160 (4K) resolution for detailed surveillance. Intended for ceiling mounting, the camera supports both indoor and outdoor installation, wired Ethernet connectivity and Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation. It uses a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor with built-in illumination (IR and warm light) and an integrated microphone, making it suitable for monitoring entrances, corridors, retail and commercial areas where high-resolution, reliable wired monitoring is required.

Advantages

The camera delivers high-definition 8 MP imaging with support for H.265 compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. Dual light design provides infrared and warm-light illumination with up to 40 m effective distance for night and low-light conditions. Built-in smart features include region of interest (ROI), wide dynamic range (WDR), 3D noise reduction (3D NR), and multiple tamper and abnormality detections. With IP67 weather resistance and support for Micro SD storage up to 256 GB, it is suitable for continuous wired surveillance with PoE convenience and ceiling-mounted installations.

Suitable for

• Ceiling-mounted indoor monitoring of lobbies, corridors and retail spaces
• Outdoor sheltered entrances and parking areas where turret style is appropriate
• Sites requiring wired Ethernet connectivity and PoE power
• Environments needing 4K detail for identification and incident review

When it may not be suitable

This wired Ethernet camera does not include Wi‑Fi, so locations without wired network access or where only wireless deployment is possible will not be suitable. Very small or covert installations that require miniature or covert models may find the turret form factor and white housing more visible than desired.

How to use

Mount the camera on a suitable ceiling surface and connect it to the local network via Ethernet cable. Power can be supplied through a 12 VDC adapter or via PoE from a compliant switch to simplify cabling. Configure video settings, compression mode and intelligent detection rules through the Dahua-compatible management interface or VMS. Insert an optional Micro SD card (up to 256 GB) for local recording, and adjust IR/warm-light and exposure settings to optimise night performance for the monitored scene.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure a wired Ethernet connection and PoE-capable switch or a 12 VDC power supply are available at the installation site
• Verify ceiling mounting locations and line of sight to coverage areas for turret placement
• Decide whether local Micro SD storage (up to 256 GB) or network/NVR storage will be used
• Confirm that the IP67 rating and size/appearance meet outdoor exposure and aesthetic requirements

Recommendations

For reliable 4K ceiling surveillance, use PoE for power and network redundancy where possible, enable H.265+ compression to reduce storage use, and configure intrusion/tripwire rules with vehicle/human classification to decrease false alarms. Periodically check lens and light modules for cleanliness to maintain night‑time performance.
