Candado ABUS 72/40 Look 1 SL 6 apertura igual — modelo 74/40 Look 1, cuerpo de acero, 6 llaves

ABUS 72/40 Look 1 SL is a compact keyed padlock with a solid steel body and a cylinder designed for reliable mechanical security. Supplied with six identical keys, this model provides convenient key management for households, small businesses and storage areas. The lock’s construction focuses on everyday protection for gates, lockers, cabinets and storage units where medium-level security and straightforward operation are required.

Advantages

The padlock’s hardened steel body and durable shackle increase resistance to cutting and impact. A precision cylinder offers consistent turning action and key reliability over repeated use. Supplied with six keys, the lock minimizes the need for key duplication and simplifies access for multiple users. Its compact dimensions and corrosion-resistant finish make it suitable for both indoor and moderately exposed outdoor environments.

Suitable for

• Residential gates and garden sheds
• Lockers and personal storage units
• Cabinets and toolboxes
• Small commercial doors and equipment enclosures

Key specifications

• Body material: solid steel
• Shackle material: hardened steel
• Locking type: keyed cylinder
• Number of keys supplied: 6
• Finish: corrosion-resistant coating
• Security level: medium (mechanical padlock)
• Size: compact format suitable for narrow hasps and fittings

How to use

Insert one of the supplied keys into the cylinder and turn to retract the locking mechanism. To secure an item, place the shackle through the hasp or staple and push it into the lock body until it clicks. Turn the key to lock if the mechanism requires it, then remove the key. To open, insert the key and turn in the opposite direction to release the shackle. Store spare keys in a safe place to avoid accidental loss and ensure multiple authorized users have access.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, lubricate the cylinder periodically with a graphite-based or dry lubricant and avoid water exposure where possible. If used outdoors, choose a sheltered mounting position to reduce direct weathering. Replace the padlock if the shackle or body shows significant rust, deformation or if the cylinder becomes difficult to operate.
