Candado de bicicleta de eslabones blindados FISCHER 1000 mm de longitud, 23 mm de diámetro

FISCHER Panzerglieder is a chain-style bike lock 1000 mm in length with a 23 mm link diameter, designed to secure bicycles at racks, posts and other fixed objects. The linked construction combines flexibility for routing the chain around frames and wheels with a compact profile for transport. A key-operated cylinder provides a straightforward locking and unlocking action suitable for everyday use.

Advantages

The 23 mm diameter links provide increased resistance to casual cutting tools compared with thinner chains while the 1000 mm length allows the lock to reach around common bicycle frames and parking anchors. The chain is finished to resist weather-related wear and is flexible enough to be coiled for storage. The included keyed locking mechanism offers simple operation and reliable engagement without electronic components.

Suitable for

• Securing city and commuter bicycles at bike racks and posts
• Locking frame and rear wheel together to deter opportunistic theft
• Short-term locking in public places such as schools, shops and workplaces

Key specifications

• Type: chain-style bike lock with key cylinder
• Length: 1000 mm
• Link diameter: 23 mm
• Construction: linked steel chain with protective outer coating
• Operation: mechanical key locking mechanism
• Weight category: medium (suitable for daily portable use)

How to use

Loop the chain around a secure fixed object and through the bicycle frame and, where possible, the rear wheel. Insert the key into the cylinder, turn to engage the locking mechanism and remove the key once locked. To unlock, insert the key and turn in the opposite direction. Coil the chain for transport and stow it on a rack or in a bag when not in use. Inspect the cylinder and links periodically for signs of wear or damage.

Recommendations

For improved security, lock both the frame and a wheel to an immovable object and choose a well-lit, busy location. Avoid leaving the bicycle locked for extended periods in high-risk areas. Regularly lubricate the key cylinder with a dry lubricant recommended for mechanical locks and keep the protective coating free of dirt to maintain functionality.
