Candado de horquilla FISCHER 85851, candado de arco, nivel de seguridad 10

FISCHER Bügelschloss model 85851 is a U-lock designed for secure locking of bicycles and other outdoor equipment. Specified as Security Level 10, it provides a high resistance to tampering and cutting attempts. The compact U-shaped shackle and reinforced crossbar create a rigid locking structure that anchors to fixed objects and supports everyday locking and unlocking for urban and commuter cyclists.

Advantages

The lock combines hardened steel construction with a corrosion-resistant finish to maintain security performance in outdoor conditions. Its compact geometry makes it suitable for mounting on frames or carrying in a bag while delivering substantial resistance to leverage and cutting tools. A precision cylinder mechanism reduces the risk of picking, and an ergonomic key interface simplifies daily operation.

Suitable for

• Securing city and commuter bicycles
• Locking e-bikes and heavier cycles in short-term stops
• Protecting scooters, trailers, and outdoor equipment
• Use on bike racks, railings, posts, and fixed urban fixtures

Key specifications

• Security classification: Level 10 (high resistance to tampering)
• Lock type: U-lock (D-lock) with rigid shackle
• Material: hardened steel shackle and reinforced crossbar
• Finish: corrosion-resistant coating suitable for outdoor use
• Lock mechanism: precision cylinder with key operation
• Form factor: compact, U-shaped design for anchoring to fixed objects

How to use

Position the U-lock so the shackle secures both the bicycle frame and a fixed anchor point such as a rack or post. Insert the shackle into the crossbar and turn the key to engage the locking cylinder; ensure the mechanism clicks fully to confirm engagement. To unlock, insert the correct key and turn until the shackle releases. For heavier bicycles, pass the shackle through the frame and a wheel or use an additional secondary lock for extra protection.

Recommendations

Store and transport the lock in a dry place when not in use and periodically apply a small amount of graphite or silicone-based lubricant to the cylinder to maintain smooth operation. When possible, lock bicycles in well-lit, visible locations and attach the lock to immovable objects to reduce theft risk.
