Carcasa HDD LC-Power LC-35U3-HYDRA

The LC-Power LC-35U3-HYDRA is a black external HDD enclosure for 3.5" SATA hard disk drives. It features an aluminium body combined with plastic elements to improve heat dissipation and mechanical protection, and connects to a host via USB Type-B supporting USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Superspeed) for fast data transfer. The enclosure supports Serial ATA I/II/III drives and accommodates a single 3.5" storage drive, offering a straightforward way to make internal hard drives usable as external storage.

Advantages

The aluminium construction aids thermal management while the compact, modern design provides practical desktop placement. USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity delivers high transfer speeds compatible with older SATA drive generations. The enclosure is compatible with standard 3.5" SATA drives and is tool-friendly for easy installation and replacement.

Suitable for

• Expanding external storage capacity for desktops and workstations
• Accessing data from removed internal 3.5" SATA hard drives
• Backup and file transfer tasks requiring fast USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 speeds
• Temporary or portable use of a single 3.5" HDD

The drive should be detected by the operating system; if necessary, initialize or format the drive using the OS disk management tools before first use.

Recommendations

Place the enclosure on a stable, well-ventilated surface to ensure adequate heat dissipation from the aluminium body. Use USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 ports for best transfer performance and connect to a powered USB hub or mains adapter when using high-power 3.5" drives that require external power.
