CBO AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q1M cable óptico activo, 1 m, compatible con NetApp

The CBO AOC SFP28 BlueOptics BO272703Q1M active optical cable is a 1 m direct-attach solution designed for SFP28 ports and marked as compatible with NetApp. This active optical cable integrates transceivers and fiber in a single assembly to provide a short-reach, high-bandwidth link between switches, servers and storage systems. Its single-meter length is intended for connections inside racks or between adjacent rack units where a reliable low-latency optical link is required.

Advantages

This active optical cable reduces system complexity by removing the need for separate transceivers and fiber patch cords, which simplifies installation and inventory management. The integrated optical components deliver low latency and stable signal integrity over the 1 m distance, while the standardized SFP28 form factor ensures compatibility with equipment that supports SFP28 ports. The compact, one-piece design minimizes cabling congestion in dense rack environments and supports consistent performance for high-speed direct connections.

Suitable for

• Direct server-to-switch or switch-to-switch connections in data center racks
• High-speed links between storage arrays and hosts in SAN or NAS environments
• Short-reach interconnects inside blade enclosures or adjacent rack units

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 form factor on both ends
• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 1 meter
• Data rate: supports 25 Gbps per channel over SFP28 interfaces
• Use case: short-reach optical interconnect for rack-level connections

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP28 end into the corresponding SFP28 ports on the devices until the connector latches. Ensure devices are powered and configured for the appropriate interface settings before enabling traffic. No separate transceiver installation or fiber patching is required; the cable provides a single-step connection. Verify link status and port negotiation in the host or switch management interface after physical connection.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m active optical cable for short, rack-level links where the distance and port type match the cable specification. Avoid tight bends and mechanical strain near the connector housings, and perform visual inspections of connectors before insertion to prevent contamination. Check device compatibility lists for confirmed interoperability with your specific network equipment marked as compatible with NetApp.
