Cepillo de vaso KWB 603230 5 cm

Cup brush KWB 603230 5 cm is a flexible nylon cup brush with aluminium oxide abrasive, 5 cm diameter and 6 mm shank. It is designed for fine sanding and surface preparation on wood, steel, stainless steel, light alloys and non-ferrous metals. The brush works with drills and angle grinders to remove paint, varnish, rust, welding discolouration and general contamination while also being suitable for light surfacing of wood and treatment of medium-sized surfaces.

Advantages

The nylon filaments with aluminium oxide provide a balance between abrasion and flexibility for controlled material removal. Its 6 mm shank fits standard drill chucks and many rotary tools, enabling straightforward attachment. The compact 5 cm cup diameter allows access to smaller areas while maintaining consistent performance across medium-sized surfaces. Durable construction reduces wear during repeated use.

How to use

Securely fit the 6 mm shank into a compatible drill or appropriate rotary tool according to the tool manufacturer's instructions. Start the tool at low speed to establish contact, then increase speed as needed while keeping the brush moving to avoid concentrating abrasion in one spot. Apply light to moderate pressure; let the abrasive filaments remove material rather than forcing the brush. After use, inspect the brush for wear and remove debris from the workpiece.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety goggles, gloves and a dust mask). Test on a small, inconspicuous area first to verify suitability for the material and desired finish. Avoid excessive pressure, prolonged contact on a single spot and use on delicate surfaces where aggressive abrasion may cause damage.
