Cepillo de vaso KWB 606230

Cup brush KWB 606230 is a crimped HSS steel-wire cup brush with a 6 mm shank and a 50 mm brush diameter. It is designed for derusting, cleaning, surface coating and paint removal, descaling, levelling, roughing up and matting on metal and stone, and for working medium to large areas with power tools.

Advantages

The crimped HSS steel wire delivers consistent material removal while preserving the substrate. A 6 mm shank ensures compatibility with standard power-tool chucks and holders. The 50 mm cup size provides a balance between coverage and control, suitable for medium to large surface work. The construction is intended for durability and repeated use in surface-preparation tasks.

How to use

Secure the cup brush in the power tool chuck or holder ensuring the 6 mm shank is firmly clamped. Start at low speed to check balance, then increase to the recommended operating speed for your tool and material. Apply steady, even pressure and move the brush across the surface to remove rust, paint, or scale. Avoid excessive lateral force that could deform the brush or damage the substrate. Stop the tool before setting it down or changing the workpiece.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves and a dust mask. Select the correct brush size and speed for the material: lower speeds for stone and masonry, higher speeds for metal where permitted by the brush manufacturer. Inspect the brush before use for wear or loose wires and replace when performance decreases or safety is compromised.
