Cinta adhesiva 3M GT-5000-4488-5 — 44 m de longitud, 19 mm de ancho

3M GT-5000-4488-5 adhesive film is supplied on a continuous 44 m roll with a 19 mm width, intended for bonding and surface protection tasks where a narrow, long-length adhesive strip is required. The product delivers a uniform adhesive layer suitable for assembly, masking, splicing and joining operations across industrial and workshop environments. Its narrow profile and extended roll length reduce the need for frequent replacements and support precise application along edges and seams.

Advantages

The adhesive film provides consistent tack and adhesive coverage along the full roll, enabling repeatable results in joining and masking processes. Its narrow 19 mm width allows for accurate placement in confined or detailed areas without excess material. The product is compatible with common substrates encountered in assembly and repair work and is presented on a roll format that simplifies storage and dosing during production or maintenance tasks.

Suitable for

• Edge protection and sealing of narrow profiles
• Masking for painting, coating or finishing in tight areas
• Splicing and joining thin materials or strips
• Temporary or permanent bonding in assembly and repair

Key specifications

• Roll length: 44 m
• Strip width: 19 mm
• Form: continuous adhesive film on roll
• Typical applications: bonding, masking, splicing, edge protection
• Storage format: rolled for compact storage and dispensing

How to use

Prepare the surfaces by ensuring they are clean, dry and free of dust, oils or loose particles. Unroll the film to the required length, align the strip along the target area and apply pressure along the length to obtain secure contact between the adhesive and the substrate. For best adhesion, apply firm, even pressure with a roller or by hand, working from one end to the other to avoid trapped air. Cut the film with appropriate scissors or a blade and press down the end edges to ensure a consistent bond.

Recommendations

Store the adhesive film in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Use within the manufacturer's recommended shelf life for optimal adhesion. When bonding critical components or non-standard substrates, perform a small test application to verify compatibility and adhesion strength before full-scale use.
