Cinta adhesiva de doble cara Tesa 4970, 19 mm x 50 m, soporte de PVC con adhesivo acrílico de alta adherencia

Tesa 4970 is a double-sided tape with a PVC carrier, 19 mm width and 50 m length, coated with a high-adhesion acrylic adhesive. It is engineered for permanent indoor bonding where a strong initial tack and long-term adhesion are required. The tape adheres to a wide range of substrates including metals, plastics and painted surfaces, making it suitable for mounting trims, nameplates, decorative elements and light panels in shopfitting, signage and interior finishing applications.

Advantages

The PVC carrier provides dimensional stability and resistance to creep, while the high-adhesion acrylic adhesive ensures immediate grip and durable bonding. The tape's narrow 19 mm width allows accurate positioning and discreet joints. Designed for indoor use, the product delivers consistent performance on smooth and slightly textured surfaces and is resistant to yellowing over time.

Suitable for

• Mounting trims and moldings
• Fixing nameplates and signage
• Attaching decorative elements and light panels
• Bonding plastic and metal components in interior environments

Key specifications

• Backing material: PVC carrier for stability
• Adhesive type: high-adhesion acrylic for strong permanent bonds
• Width: 19 mm
• Length: 50 m roll
• Application: indoor use on smooth and slightly textured surfaces

How to use

Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease or release agents. Cut the required length from the roll and apply the tape to one surface, pressing firmly to establish initial tack. Remove the liner and join the mating surface, applying uniform pressure across the bonded area to achieve full contact. Allow time for the adhesive to develop its long-term bond; avoid loading the joint immediately with heavy stress where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal adhesion, apply at room temperature on surfaces with temperatures above 15°C (59°F). Test adhesion on critical or low-energy plastics before final use. Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and use within a reasonable period to maintain adhesive properties.
