CLUB3D Cable MiniDisplayPort 1.4 a HDMI 4K120Hz o 8K60Hz HDR10+ M/M 1,8m / 6ft

The Cable MiniDisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI CLUB3D CAC-1187 converts a Mini DisplayPort™ 1.4 output to an HDMI™ display, enabling connection of a PC or other MiniDP™-equipped device to modern HDMI TVs and monitors. Using DP1.4 DSC video compression, the adapter supports high-resolution output up to 8K (7680x4320 at 60 Hz) or 4K (3840x2160 at 120 Hz) with HDR10+ and is powered through the Mini DisplayPort connector. The cable is 1.8 m long, black, compact and compliant with RoHS, FCC and CE EMI standards.

Advantages

The CLUB3D CAC-1187 provides a straightforward plug-and-play solution for upgrading devices that lack native HDMI 4K120Hz or 8K60Hz support by converting MiniDP 1.4 signals to HDMI. Its DP1.4 DSC support enables higher resolutions and frame rates while preserving color depth and HDR10+ metadata, and the cable receives power directly from the Mini DisplayPort source so no external power supply is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Mini DisplayPort-equipped laptop or PC to an HDMI TV or monitor
• Driving an 8K60Hz display or 4K120Hz display where the source supports DP1.4 with DSC
• Use with HDR10+ compatible displays for improved color and contrast
• Home entertainment, multimedia playback and high-resolution presentations

How to use

Connect the Mini DisplayPort end of the CAC-1187 to the MiniDP™ output on your PC or laptop and plug the HDMI end into the HDMI input of your TV or monitor. Ensure your source device supports DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC for the highest resolutions and enable HDR on both source and display if HDR10+ is required. No external power adapter is needed; the cable draws power from the Mini DisplayPort port.

Recommendations

For best results, use with devices and displays that explicitly support DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC and HDMI inputs capable of accepting the target resolution and refresh rate. Verify cable connections and set the output resolution on the source device to match the display’s supported modes. If a display does not show the expected resolution, check firmware and driver updates for the source device.
