Conector de red Schutzkontakt Bachmann BM0017342 goma CEE7/7

Schutzkontaktstecker Bachmann BM0017342 Rubber CEE7/7 is a rubber-insulated power plug designed for connecting electrical appliances to standard European mains sockets with grounding. The compact CEE7/7 geometry fits most continental European outlets and the rubber housing provides basic mechanical protection and improved grip during insertion and removal. The plug provides a grounded contact (Schutzkontakt) to ensure continuity of the protective earth connection when used with compatible grounded cables and sockets.

Advantages

The rubber construction increases resistance to impacts and provides a non-slip surface for handling. A compact, low-profile shape reduces strain at the cable entry point and facilitates installation in confined spaces behind furniture or equipment. The integrated protective-earth contact ensures a reliable ground connection when mated with compatible sockets, supporting basic operational safety for connected devices. The design is compatible with common European mains and appliances that accept the CEE7/7 form factor.

Suitable for

• Powering household appliances such as audio equipment, kitchen appliances, and lamps
• Office devices including monitors, printers, and desktop computers that require a grounded connection
• Replacement or repair of cable assemblies where a durable, grounded plug is needed
• Use in residential and light commercial environments with standard European sockets

Key specifications

• Plug type: CEE7/7 geometry compatible with continental European sockets
• Housing material: rubber-insulated body for mechanical protection and grip
• Contact type: protective-earth (Schutzkontakt) integrated for grounding
• Application: mains power connection for grounded appliances and equipment
• Design: compact, low-profile for use in confined installation spaces

How to use

Ensure the mains supply is switched off before connecting or disconnecting the plug. Strip the cable to the required length, insert conductors into the plug terminals according to local wiring practices and secure them firmly. Verify that the protective-earth conductor is correctly connected to the earth contact. After assembly, visually inspect the plug housing for proper seating and absence of exposed conductors. Plug into a compatible grounded socket and restore mains power.

Recommendations

Do not use the plug with damaged cables or sockets. Avoid exposure to prolonged moisture or chemicals that could degrade the rubber housing. If frequent flexing or mechanical stress is expected, check connections periodically and replace the plug if any damage or loose contacts are detected.
