Conector jack mono 2 polos de 6,3 mm ShiverPeaks 22220506 metal, conector mono de 6,3 mm

Mono 2‑Pole 6.3 mm Jack Plug ShiverPeaks 22220506 Metal, 6.3 mm mono connector is a 6.3 mm (1/4") metal mono audio plug intended for instrument and line‑level signal connections. The two‑pole design provides a single signal conductor and ground return, making it suitable for guitars, keyboards, amplifiers and patching in studio or live setups. Its metal housing and contact construction are designed for repeated insertion and reliable electrical contact in replacement plug applications and custom cable assemblies.

Advantages

The metal housing offers mechanical robustness and improved shielding against handling noise. The two‑pole configuration ensures a straightforward mono signal path with a secure ground connection. The connector's standard 6.3 mm size guarantees compatibility with common instrument jacks and audio equipment. Designed for cable assembly, the plug allows solder or screw termination depending on the internal design, facilitating repair and custom cable production.

Suitable for

• Electric guitars, basses and other mono instruments
• Keyboards and electronic instruments with 6.3 mm outputs
• Amplifier inputs and amp-to-amp patching
• Studio patchbays and live-sound cable runs
• Custom cable builds and replacement plug repairs

Key specifications

• Connector type: 6.3 mm (1/4") mono jack plug
• Contact configuration: 2‑pole (tip and sleeve)
• Housing material: metal
• Intended signal level: instrument and line level
• Mechanical design: durable housing for repeated insertions

How to use

Strip the cable to expose the conductor and shield, then solder or secure the conductor to the tip contact and the shield to the sleeve contact according to the plug's internal termination method. Ensure the cable is routed so that the housing can be closed without pinching conductors. After assembly, verify continuity and correct wiring with a multimeter before connecting to instruments or equipment. Insert the plug fully into compatible 6.3 mm jacks to establish a reliable connection.

Recommendations

Use this 6.3 mm mono plug for single‑channel instrument and line connections where a robust metal housing is needed. For noise-sensitive or balanced applications, consider using a TRS or balanced connector instead. Regularly inspect solder joints and the housing for wear if the plug is used in frequent patching environments.
