Conmutador KVM Inter-Tech AS-22HA HDMI

The Inter-Tech AS-22HA HDMI KVM switch enables control of two computers using a single keyboard and mouse, simplifying multi-system workflows. The unit supports HDMI video transmission with resolutions up to 1920 x 1440 pixels, and provides USB connectivity for keyboard and mouse devices. Housed in a compact steel enclosure, the switch is designed for stable operation with a long mean time between failures and a small footprint for desktop or rack-adjacent setups.

Advantages

The device combines HDMI video switching and USB peripheral sharing into a single compact unit, reducing cable clutter and desk space. Its steel housing increases mechanical durability, while a long MTBF supports reliable continuous use. Automatic or manual switching options and a short scan interval help maintain responsive control when working across two systems.

How to use

Connect HDMI cables from each computer to the corresponding HDMI input ports on the KVM switch and attach the monitor to the HDMI output. Plug the keyboard and mouse into the USB ports on the unit. Power on both computers and the monitor; the switch will cycle inputs at its configured scan interval or can be changed manually according to the front-panel control. Use the keyboard/mouse as usual—input control and video follow the active channel selected on the switch.

Recommendations

For stable video performance, use HDMI cables rated for the required resolution and avoid excessively long runs. Place the KVM switch on a flat, well-ventilated surface and ensure USB devices are compatible with generic HID drivers to prevent recognition issues when switching between systems.
