The LevelOne GVT-2000 gigabit media converter converts network signals between copper (RJ-45) and fiber-optic (SFP) networks. How to use

Install an appropriate 1000Base-X SFP module into the SFP slot and connect the fiber cable. Connect the RJ-45 port to a copper Ethernet device or switch using CAT5e/6 cable. Configure the DIP switches to enable the desired LFP mode (Smart pass-through, cut-through or disabled) and verify link and activity LEDs to confirm network connectivity. Use the CHV-2000 rack if multiple converters need to be mounted centrally.
