Cortasetos a batería EINHELL GP-CH 18/50 Li BL-Solo — plataforma de batería 18V, espada de 50 cm

The EINHELL GP-CH 18/50 Li BL-Solo — 18V, 50 cm cutting bar is a cordless hedge trimmer designed for trimming and shaping hedges and shrubs in domestic gardens. Powered by the 18 V Power X-Change battery platform (battery and charger sold separately), this model features a 50 cm double-sided cutting bar and a brushless motor that delivers efficient cutting performance with reduced maintenance requirements. The tool is intended for precise hedge shaping and routine pruning of medium-thickness branches.

Advantages

The brushless motor provides higher efficiency and longer runtime compared with brushed counterparts while minimizing wear and reducing maintenance needs. The 50 cm cutting bar allows for a balanced combination of reach and maneuverability, making it suitable for medium-sized hedges. Cordless operation from the 18 V battery platform ensures freedom of movement without trailing cables and enables compatibility with other tools from the same battery system. Ergonomic handle design and a lightweight construction support comfortable use during extended trimming tasks.

Suitable for

• Trimming and shaping residential hedges and borders
• Pruning shrubs and small branches up to medium thickness
• Maintaining garden edges and formal hedge lines
• Use in locations without easy access to mains power

Key specifications

• Supply voltage: 18 V (compatible with Power X-Change batteries)
• Cutting bar length: 50 cm
• Motor type: brushless motor for improved efficiency
• Blade type: double-sided cutting bar for cutting in both directions
• Intended branch capacity: medium-thickness branches (typical residential use)
• Weight class: lightweight design for easier handling (actual weight depends on battery fitted)

How to use

Before operation, fit a fully charged compatible 18 V Power X-Change battery and ensure the battery is locked into place. Check the cutting bar and blade condition and remove any debris. Start the tool according to the manufacturer instructions, keeping a firm two-handed grip on the handles. Move the cutting bar smoothly along the hedge, making steady strokes from one end to the other; use the tip for shaping and the central section for cutting thicker growth. Work at a steady pace to avoid overloading the motor and stop periodically to inspect blades and the workpiece. After use, remove the battery, clean the blade carefully, and store the tool in a dry place.

Recommendations

For safe and effective trimming, wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves, eye protection and sturdy footwear. Select a fully charged battery compatible with the 18 V Power X-Change platform to achieve optimal runtime and performance. Avoid cutting branches beyond the recommended thickness and allow the brushless motor to cool during extended use. Regularly clean and lightly lubricate the blades following the manufacturer's maintenance guidance to preserve cutting performance.
