The Bosch Easy HedgeCut 18-52-13 Battery 18V 2Ah 2.8kg is a lightweight electric hedge trimmer designed for routine garden maintenance. At 2.8 kg and with a total length of 1010 mm, it offers an ergonomic balance between reach and control. The tool is powered by an 18V battery with 2Ah capacity and features a 240 mm cutting width, enabling efficient trimming of hedges and small to medium shrubs with reduced operator fatigue.

Advantages

The hedge trimmer combines a compact design with cordless mobility, providing freedom of movement without trailing cables. Its low weight improves handling for extended use and precise shaping. The 240 mm cutting width and blade design deliver consistent cuts across branches typically found in domestic hedges. Battery operation reduces noise and maintenance compared with petrol alternatives while the balanced length improves access to higher or deeper sections of hedgerows.

Suitable for

• Trimming domestic hedges and garden shrubs
• Shaping and edging small to medium-sized hedgerows
• Light pruning of young branches and shoots
• Maintenance of suburban and allotment gardens

Key specifications

• Power supply: 18 V battery, 2 Ah capacity
• Weight: 2.8 kg (approximate)
• Total length: 1010 mm for extended reach
• Cutting width: 240 mm blade length

How to use

Before use, ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted according to the manufacturer's fitting instructions. Hold the trimmer with both hands, maintaining a firm, balanced stance. Move the blade in smooth, controlled motions across the hedge, cutting from the base upwards or top down depending on the desired shape. Work in overlapping passes to achieve an even finish. Allow the motor to rest periodically during longer tasks to avoid overheating and check the blade for debris or damage after use.

Recommendations

Use safety equipment such as eye protection and gloves, and clear the work area of people and obstacles before starting. For best results, cut in dry conditions and avoid forcing the tool through branches thicker than the blade is designed to handle. Store the trimmer with the battery removed and the blade covered following cleaning and inspection.
