Cortasetos eléctrico DeWALT DCM563P1-QW

The DeWALT DCM563P1-QW power hedge trimmer is a cordless 18V tool designed for hedge and shrub maintenance. With a lightweight construction of 3.4 kg (including battery) and a single cutting blade, it balances manoeuvrability and cutting performance for regular garden care. The 18V lithium battery technology provides extended runtime and faster recharge compared with older battery types, allowing uninterrupted trimming of small-to-medium green spaces.

Advantages

The hedge trimmer's compact and lightweight design reduces user fatigue during extended use and improves access in tight spaces. The single blade delivers precise cuts suitable for shaping hedges and removing overgrowth, while the brushless-compatible motor design and efficient battery system contribute to consistent cutting performance. Cordless operation increases safety by eliminating trailing cables and enhances portability for work around the property.

Suitable for

• Trimming residential hedges and boundary shrubs
• Shaping decorative bushes and topiary
• Maintenance of small-to-medium garden landscapes
• Quick spot-trimming and tidying tasks

Key specifications

• Power source: 18V lithium-ion battery
• Weight: 3.4 kg (with battery)
• Blade type: single cutting blade
• Design: cordless, handheld hedge trimmer
• Typical use: domestic and light professional garden maintenance

How to use

Before starting, ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly fitted to the tool. Hold the trimmer with both hands, keeping a firm grip on the front handle and the rear handle for control. Operate the trimmer with smooth, even sweeping motions along the hedge, keeping the blade at the desired angle to achieve an even cut. Work from the bottom up for overgrown areas, removing larger protrusions with successive passes. Allow the tool to cool periodically during extended use and stop if the blade becomes obstructed; remove the battery before clearing any jams.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection when operating the trimmer. For best results, trim hedges when foliage is dry and perform routine blade maintenance—cleaning and sharpening as needed—to maintain cutting efficiency and prolong the tool's service life.
