Cortatubos manual KS Tools 104.5050 peso 1,03 kg

The KS Tools 104.5050 manual pipe cutter is a compact hand tool designed for precise cutting of metal and plastic pipes. Weighing 1.03 kg, the tool combines solid construction with an ergonomic profile to assist controlled straight cuts. Its compact dimensions and manual operation make it suitable for work in confined spaces and for jobs where power tools are impractical or unavailable.

Advantages

The manual pipe cutter provides consistent, burr-reduced cuts while requiring no external power source. Durable materials and a robust cutting wheel ensure repeatable performance and extended tool life. Its moderate weight gives a stable feel during use without causing excessive fatigue, and the simple adjustment mechanism allows accurate alignment to different pipe diameters.

Suitable for

• Copper, brass and thin-walled steel pipe cutting
• Plastic pipe trimming and clean-offs
• On-site plumbing repairs and replacements
• HVAC maintenance tasks in tight spaces
• DIY projects requiring manual pipe cutting

Key specifications

• Tool type: Manual pipe cutter
• Weight: 1.03 kg
• Construction: metal body with hardened cutting wheel
• Operation: hand-rotated cutting with adjustable clamp
• Typical materials: metal and plastic pipes (suitable for copper, brass, thin-walled steel, PVC and similar)
• Usage environment: workshop, on-site service, confined spaces

How to use

Place the pipe into the cutter's jaws and align the cutting wheel with the intended cut mark. Tighten the adjustment mechanism until the cutting wheel makes light contact with the pipe, then rotate the tool around the pipe while gradually tightening to deepen the cut. Continue rotating and incrementally increasing pressure until the pipe separates. After cutting, deburr the pipe end if required to ensure a clean fit for fittings or joints.

Recommendations

Inspect the cutting wheel regularly and replace it if visibly worn or chipped to maintain clean cuts. Select the correct clamp setting for the pipe diameter and avoid over-tightening in a single step; progressive tightening improves cut quality. Use appropriate safety gloves and eye protection when cutting metal pipes, and clean chips or burrs before assembly.
