AS Schwabe Energie-Würfel I IP44 is a hanging power cube designed for temporary and semi-permanent power distribution in workshops, construction sites and covered outdoor areas. The unit provides four protected 16A, 230V sockets arranged on a compact cube body with integrated suspension points and splash protection rated to IP44. The design supports safe connection of power tools, lighting and portable equipment while helping to reduce cable clutter and improve workplace organization.

Advantages

The Energie-Würfel I combines IP44 splash protection with individual socket protection to reduce the risk of moisture-related faults in damp environments. How to use

Install the Energie-Würfel I by suspending it from a suitable, load-bearing support such as a ceiling hook, beam or scaffold connection point. Ensure the suspension point and any connected cable are rated for the intended load. Connect the cube to a correctly rated power supply and verify the supply is switched off while making connections. Plug tools and equipment into the protected sockets and switch on the supply. Regularly inspect the unit, sockets and power cable for signs of damage or moisture ingress; do not use if the housing or cable is compromised.

Recommendations

Use the power cube only in covered or partially protected outdoor areas consistent with its IP44 rating. Do not expose the unit to direct driving rain or submersion. Match total connected load to circuit capacity, avoid daisy-chaining multiple extension devices, and switch off power before connecting or disconnecting high-current tools. Periodically check for wear and replace the unit if protective features are damaged.
