DeLOCK acoplador de fibra óptica 86893 SC dúplex conector hembra a conector hembra SC dúplex azul

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Coupler 86893 SC Duplex Female to SC Duplex Female Blue provides a compact interface for connecting SC duplex single-mode fiber connectors. Designed for insertion into fiber connection boxes, cabinets and patch panels, the coupler allows direct mating of optical fiber cables and helps maintain a stable optical connection. The unit includes a dust cap and a flip mechanism for protection against laser radiation.

Advantages

The coupling supports SC duplex single-mode connections in a compact metal/plastic housing and is supplied with a dust cover to keep the sleeve clean. An integrated flip offers protection against laser radiation when connectors are unmated or exposed, and the standardized SC duplex interfaces ensure compatibility with common SC fiber cables and panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting SC duplex single-mode fiber cables in network cabinets
• Mounting in optical fiber connection boxes and patch panels
• Temporary or permanent fiber links in telecommunications and data centres

How to use

Insert the SC duplex male connectors of the fiber cables into the corresponding SC duplex female ports of the coupler until they click into place. When not in use or during physical maintenance, close the dust cap to protect the ferrule from contamination. If the flip is present, ensure it is positioned to shield the optical path when connectors are removed to reduce exposure to laser radiation.

Recommendations

Handle fiber connectors and the coupler with clean hands or gloves and avoid touching the ferrule surfaces. Use the dust cap whenever connectors are disconnected and follow site safety procedures for work involving active fiber links to prevent exposure to laser radiation.
