The card requires motherboard PCIe bifurcation to split the PCIe lanes so both M.2 slots can operate simultaneously; without bifurcation only the first slot is available.

How to use

Install the card into a PCIe x8 (or larger) slot on a motherboard that supports PCIe bifurcation. Mount compatible M.2 Key M SSDs of the supported lengths into the two M.2 slots and secure them with the supplied or appropriate screws. Configure the motherboard BIOS/UEFI to enable PCIe bifurcation so both M.2 devices are exposed to the system. If bifurcation is not enabled or not supported, only the first M.2 slot will be usable.
