Desmontador de clips KS Tools 210 mm modelo 911.8125, longitud 210 mm

KS Tools clipheber (clip remover) 210 mm model 911.8125 is a hand tool designed for removing retaining clips, spring clips and fasteners in automotive and mechanical repair tasks. With an overall length of 210 mm it offers reach and mechanical advantage to extract clips from panels, trim, hose connections and tight assembly points while keeping the user’s hand at a safe distance from the work area. The tool is intended for workshop use by mechanics and technicians who require a reliable, single-handed clip removal solution.

Advantages

The 210 mm length provides extended reach and leverage, making it easier to access clips in confined spaces without needing to disassemble nearby components. The working tip and handle geometry are engineered to grip common clip shapes securely for controlled extraction, reducing the risk of clip damage or slippage. Robust construction ensures repeated use in professional environments, while the compact size and straight profile allow storage in tool drawers or on service benches.

Suitable for

• Removing retaining clips from door panels and interior trim
• Extracting hose clips and spring fasteners in engine bays
• Separating small snap-fits and connectors during repairs
• Bodywork and upholstery maintenance in automotive workshops

Key specifications

• Overall length: 210 mm
• Tool type: clip remover / clipheber
• Intended use: manual removal of retaining clips and small fasteners
• Operation: single-handed use with manual leverage
• Design: straight profile for reach in narrow spaces

How to use

Position the working tip of the clip remover under the edge of the retaining clip or fastener. Apply steady, controlled leverage by pulling the handle away from the mounting surface while maintaining a secure grip on the tool. For clips located behind panels or in deep cavities, use the full 210 mm length to reach the clip and create sufficient leverage to extract it without excessive force. Inspect the clip after removal and replace it if deformed or damaged.

Recommendations

Use protective eyewear and gloves when removing clips to protect against sudden release or flying debris. For seized or rusted fasteners, apply penetrating lubricant before attempting removal and avoid excessive twisting or prying that could damage surrounding components.
