The cimco manual straight screwdriver 117770 is a hand tool with a total length of 245 mm designed for general fastening and loosening of screws. Its straight shaft provides direct access to fasteners in confined or recessed areas while allowing precise, controlled torque application for routine mechanical, electrical and installation tasks. The tool is intended for standard screw sizes and common workshop and maintenance use where a reliable, simple screwdriver is required.

Advantages

The straight shaft and ergonomic handle enable steady grip and accurate alignment with screw heads, reducing slippage during turning. At 245 mm overall length the screwdriver reaches deeper-set screws than short drivers while remaining compact enough for tight workspaces. Construction materials and a simple, robust design make it durable for regular workshop and on-site use and easy to maintain.

• Plumbing and HVAC installation tasks with recessed fasteners
• Home repairs and furniture assembly

Key specifications

• Total length: 245 mm
• Shaft type: straight
• Application: manual fastening and loosening of screws
• Intended use environments: workshop, installation, maintenance, home

How to use

Select the appropriate screwdriver tip size that matches the screw head to ensure full contact and prevent cam-out. Align the straight shaft with the screw axis, apply firm axial pressure, and turn the handle in the required direction. Use controlled, steady force rather than abrupt torque to avoid damaging the screw head or surrounding material. For electrical work, ensure power is isolated and follow safe working practices.

Recommendations

Keep the tip clean and free of debris to maintain good contact with screw heads; inspect the shaft and handle periodically for wear. Store the screwdriver in a dry place and use insulated tools when working on live circuits only if the tool is rated for electrical insulation.
