Destructora de papel REXEL Momentum X312-SL – corte en partículas 5 x 42 mm, capacidad 12 hojas, cesta 23 L, control por botones

REXEL Momentum X312-SL is a particle-cut paper shredder with a compact footprint designed for small offices and home use. It produces 5 x 42 mm particles at security level P-3 and shreds up to 12 sheets per pass into a 23 L pull-out basket with a viewing window. Control is via tactile buttons and the unit includes an anti-jam mechanism to reduce interruptions during use. The housing combines grey and black finishes to suit a range of workspaces.

Advantages

The Momentum X312-SL offers particle-cut shredding that balances privacy and everyday efficiency, meeting P-3 security requirements for disposal of routine confidential documents. Its anti-jam mechanism helps maintain continuous operation when feeding multiple sheets, and the viewing window lets you monitor the fill level without opening the basket. The compact dimensions and moderate basket capacity make it easy to place next to a desk or in a small office area, while button controls provide straightforward operation.

Suitable for

• Shredding routine office documents, invoices and correspondence
• Home office document disposal
• Small teams or personal workspaces requiring P-3 security
• Areas where a compact, low-footprint shredder is needed

How to use

Place the shredder on a stable, level surface and ensure the pull-out basket is correctly seated. Switch the unit on using the control buttons and feed up to 12 sheets of paper aligned together into the feed slot; the anti-jam mechanism will engage if resistance is detected. Use short feed cycles rather than continuous overfeeding to maintain performance and allow the motor to cool. Empty the 23 L basket when the viewing window indicates a near-full level and always switch the machine off and disconnect from power before clearing any jams or performing cleaning.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid attempting to shred materials other than paper (the unit is not rated for credit cards, CDs, staples or paper clips). Allow short resting periods after extended use to prevent overheating and empty the basket regularly. Keep the feed slot free of dust and debris and operate the control buttons as described to ensure consistent shredding performance.
