Detector de movimiento Steinel HF 180 COM1 ws IP44 ángulo de detección de 180°

Steinel HF 180 COM1 ws is a compact motion sensor engineered for presence and movement detection in indoor and covered outdoor environments. With a 180° detection angle and IP44 protection, the unit delivers automatic switching for lighting and basic security functions while fitting common mounting locations. The sensor is intended to support energy-efficient operation and practical convenience by detecting occupancy and triggering connected lighting or control circuits.

Advantages

The HF 180 COM1 ws combines a wide 180° detection zone with a compact housing suitable for ceilings or wall mounting. Its IP44-rated enclosure protects against splashes and dust from typical sheltered outdoor installations and indoor utility areas. The sensor offers stable detection performance for presence and movement, enabling automated control of lighting circuits and simple integration into existing electrical setups. The device is designed for straightforward installation and reliable day-to-day operation without requiring frequent adjustments.

Suitable for

• Indoor corridors, stairwells and utility rooms
• Covered outdoor entrance areas and porches
• Small offices, storage spaces and technical rooms
• Automatic control of lighting and basic security lighting

Key specifications

• Detection angle: 180°
• Environmental protection: IP44 (splash and dust protection)
• Mounting: ceiling or wall mounting in standard locations
• Detection technology: high-frequency presence/motion detection
• Application area: indoor and covered outdoor use

How to use

Install the sensor at the recommended mounting height and position to cover the required detection zone; typical installation points include ceilings in corridors or walls near entrances. Connect the sensor to the lighting or control circuit following local electrical regulations and the manufacturer's wiring instructions. After powering the unit, verify detection coverage by walking through the monitored area and adjust the mounting position if necessary. Regularly inspect the unit for dirt or obstructions that could affect detection performance.

Recommendations

Place the sensor so its 180° detection field covers the intended traffic path and avoid mounting behind large objects or in locations with direct exposure to heavy rain. For consistent operation, keep the sensing window free of paint and debris and follow local electrical safety standards during installation and maintenance.
