Digitus cable de conexión de fibra óptica con armadura de acero SC/APC SC/APC 1 m monomodo G.657.A2

The steel-armored fiber optic patch cable provides durable protection against physical damage, long service life and low signal loss, suitable for demanding environments and high-performance FTTH networks. The cable combines armoring with a compact, flexible construction to simplify installation in constrained spaces while maintaining reliable transmission.

Advantages

The armored design increases mechanical strength and protects the fiber core from crushing, bending and rodent damage while remaining relatively light and flexible. This ensures stable signal transmission and extended cable lifespan in industrial, outdoor or enterprise applications where extra protection is required.

Key specifications

• Type: steel-armored fiber optic patch cable
• Application: FTTH, industrial automation, enterprise networks
• Features: compact and flexible design, enhanced mechanical protection
• Performance: low signal loss, reliable transmission
• Environment: suitable for harsh environments

How to use

Route the armored patch cable through the intended pathway, avoiding sharp bends beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Terminate and connectorize the cable according to standard fiber-optic procedures and secure it in place with appropriate clamps or trays. Inspect connectors and test optical loss after installation to confirm proper performance.

Recommendations

Use the armored patch cable where mechanical protection is necessary; follow recommended bend radius and installation practices, and perform post-installation testing to ensure low loss and reliable connectivity.
