DIGITUS Caja de empalme de fibra óptica SC OM4 1U 6xSC-DX cassette pigtails acopladores

The Digitus Fiber Optic Splice Box DN-96320-4 is a 1U rack-mounted enclosure designed for managing and protecting fiber splices and connections. It is equipped for six SC duplex ports and uses OM4 multimode fiber components. The unit includes a splice cassette, colored pigtails and couplers, and comes in a robust steel housing with compact dimensions (483 x 243 x 44 mm), suitable for data center and communication rack installations.

Advantages

This splice box provides organized fiber routing and secure protection for splices and connector interfaces. The included splice cassette simplifies fusion splice storage and handling, while the colored pigtails and couplers enable fast identification and straightforward connectorization. Its 1U form factor and steel construction allow space-efficient, durable installation in standard 19-inch racks.

Suitable for

• Patch and splice management in server rooms and data centers
• OM4 multimode fiber installations requiring SC duplex connectors
• Rack-mounted fiber distribution and cross-connect panels

How to use

Mount the splice box into a standard 19-inch rack occupying one unit (1U) of rack height. Route incoming fibers to the rear or side entry points, secure them with strain relief, and perform fusion splices inside the provided splice cassette. Terminate pigtails into the included couplers and install SC duplex connectors into the front panel ports. Organize and secure excess fiber with the internal routing paths to avoid bending beyond specified radii.

Recommendations

Handle fibers and pigtails following standard fiber safety and cleanliness procedures. Use proper fusion splicing equipment and verify optical continuity and loss with an appropriate tester after installation. Maintain bend radius and secure fibers to prevent mechanical stress.
