Disco de cerdas abrasivo 3M K80 BD-ZB 115×22 mm para el tratamiento de superficies

Abrasive Bristle Brush Disc 3M K80 BD-ZB 115×22 mm is a wheel-shaped abrasive tool intended for surface finishing, blending and light deburring. The disc combines abrasive grain with flexible bristles that conform to contours, enabling uniform surface texture and removal of contaminants. With K80 grit and a 115 mm diameter and 22 mm bore, it is designed to mount on compatible angle grinders and rotary tools for work on metal and other materials.

Advantages

The bristle construction provides controlled material removal with reduced risk of gouging compared with rigid wheels. K80 abrasive gives an effective balance between cutting speed and surface refinement, making the disc suitable for removing rust, scale, paint residues and weld discoloration while producing a consistent finish. The round disc shape and flexible bristles access curved surfaces and profile edges more easily than flat abrasives, and the design reduces vibration transfer to the user when used at recommended speeds.

Suitable for

• Cleaning and preparing metal surfaces prior to painting or coating
• Blending and finishing weld seams and heat-affected areas
• Light deburring of edges and removing burrs from sheet metal
• Removing rust, scale and paint residues from structural parts
• Surface texturing to create uniform appearance on metal components

Key specifications

• Abrasive grain size: K80 (medium grit)
• Disc diameter: 115 mm
• Bore diameter: 22 mm
• Construction: abrasive-coated bristles arranged in a circular disc
• Compatible mounting: designed for angle grinders and rotary tools with corresponding arbor
• Primary materials: abrasive mineral bonded to synthetic bristles for flexible contact

How to use

Secure the disc to a compatible angle grinder or rotary tool using the correct mounting flange and follow the tool manufacturer's instructions for installation. Operate the tool at the recommended speed range for the disc and the working material. Hold the tool at a slight angle and apply light, consistent pressure while moving the disc across the surface to avoid concentrated contact in a single spot. Use steady, overlapping passes for an even finish and allow the bristles to conform to contours rather than forcing aggressive cutting.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, gloves and hearing protection. Confirm tool speed compatibility before use and avoid excessive pressure or side-loading of the disc. Test on a small area first to verify finish and feed rate. Store discs in a dry environment to preserve abrasive performance.
