DSIT Cable de red CAT 6a LSOH S/FTP 30 m gris (DC-6A1-300)

Data center technicians and IT administrators running 10 Gigabit Ethernet over longer distances need a patch cable that maintains signal integrity without compromising safety. The DSIT CAT 6a Network Cable delivers exactly that: 30 meters of screened/foiled twisted pair construction, wrapped in a low smoke zero halogen jacket. Whether you're connecting switches in a server rack, linking a workstation across an office, or powering a PoE device, this cable ensures reliable, high-speed performance.

Key specifications

• Category 6a performance with up to 500 MHz bandwidth
• S/FTP shielding: individual foil pairs plus overall braid screen
• 30-meter length for flexible deployment
• LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket for enhanced fire safety
• Supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet (10 Gbps)
• RJ45 male connectors on both ends, TIA/EIA 568B wiring
• Stranded copper conductors for flexibility and durability
• 100 Ohm impedance, backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat6
• PoE compatible (Power over Ethernet)

Why choose it

The S/FTP shielding provides superior protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, making this cable ideal for electrically noisy environments such as industrial floors or dense data centers. The LSOH jacket emits very low smoke and no halogen gases in case of fire, meeting strict safety regulations for public buildings, schools, and hospitals. With a 30-meter length, you can route cables cleanly without excess slack, and the grey colour blends unobtrusively into most environments.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting servers to switches in data centers
• High-speed workstation links in offices
• PoE devices such as IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones
• Installations requiring LSOH compliance (tunnels, public buildings)
• Gaming or media streaming setups demanding low latency

Good to know

This cable is fully backward compatible with existing Cat5e and Cat6 networks, so you can upgrade gradually without replacing all infrastructure. The stranded copper conductors offer better flexibility than solid core, making it easier to route through tight spaces. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and use proper cable management. The LSOH jacket may feel slightly stiffer than PVC, but the safety benefits far outweigh this minor trade-off.
