Equip cable alargador activo USB 2.0 tipo A conector macho a conector hembra, 5 m

The equip® USB 2.0 Type A Active Extension Cable (5 m) extends an existing USB connection by an additional 5 metres using an active component to preserve signal integrity and data transfer performance. It has a male-to-female USB A connector configuration, supports USB 2.0 data rates up to 0.48 Gbit/s and comes in a durable black design suitable for connecting printers, cameras and other USB peripherals.

Advantages

The active circuitry compensates for signal loss over the extended length, enabling reliable communication at USB 2.0 speeds. The plug-and-play design requires no drivers or external power, and the standard USB A male-to-female connectors ensure wide compatibility with existing devices and cables.

Suitable for

• Extending USB connections to printers and scanners
• Connecting digital cameras and webcams at a greater distance from the host
• Extending connections for external HDDs, keyboards and mice (within USB 2.0 limits)
• Temporary or permanent cable routing where a longer reach is needed

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable with USB 2.0 devices and avoid chaining multiple passive extensions. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and physical strain; route the cable to prevent sharp bends and secure connections to reduce disconnection risk.
