Estación meteorológica digital Sencor SWS 9700 negra

The Digital Weather Station Sencor SWS 9700 Black is a compact home weather instrument with a 14.7 cm built-in display that shows indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed and barometric pressure. The unit supports wireless outdoor sensors at 0.868 GHz and is battery powered, offering trend indicators for pressure, humidity, rainfall and temperature. The display provides readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit and includes a clock and alarm function for daily use.

Advantages

The Sencor SWS 9700 Black combines a clear, large display with multi-parameter sensing: indoor/outdoor temperature, humidity and barometric pressure are shown alongside wind speed data. Its wireless connection at 0.868 GHz enables placement of the external sensor away from the main unit. The compact black housing and slim footprint make it suitable for placement on a table or shelf without drawing attention. Battery operation removes the need for permanent wiring and facilitates flexible positioning.

Suitable for

• Home monitoring of indoor climate and outdoor conditions
• Hobby meteorology and personal weather observation
• Preparation for outdoor activities based on local temperature, wind and pressure
• Monitoring humidity-sensitive rooms such as cellars, greenhouses or instrument rooms

How to use

Place the main unit indoors on a stable surface where the display is clearly visible. Install batteries in both the main unit and in the external sensor according to the user manual. Mount the external sensor outdoors in a shaded, ventilated location away from direct sunlight and heavy rain to ensure accurate temperature and humidity readings. The unit will automatically receive data from the wireless sensor; use the display controls to switch temperature units, view pressure/humidity trends, set the clock and program the alarm.

Recommendations

For best accuracy, position the outdoor sensor at a standard height (about 1.5 to 2 metres above ground) in a shaded area with good airflow. Replace batteries annually or when low-battery warnings appear and avoid placing the indoor unit near heat sources, windows with direct sun or air vents to prevent measurement bias.
