Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Multi 12 uds. lápices de colores acuarelables, multicolor

Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Multi 12 pcs coloured watercolour pencils combine the precision of a drawing pencil with the blending potential of watercolour paints. Each pencil contains high-quality pigments formulated for strong lightfastness and vivid colour. Use them dry for fine lines and detailed shading, or dissolve the pigment with water to achieve smooth, painterly washes. The set comes in a compact metal tin with twelve varied colours chosen for sketching, illustration and mixed-media work.

Advantages

The pencils deliver smooth, even colour laydown and dissolve completely when brushed with water, allowing control over intensity from subtle tinting to full washes. A specialised bonding process makes the leads break-resistant during sharpening and use. Pigments retain brilliance and permanence after drying, so subsequent layers can be applied without lifting earlier work. The metal tin keeps the pencils organised and protected.

How to use

Begin by applying colour dry to paper to establish lines, details or base strokes. To create watercolour washes, apply a wet brush over the coloured area and blend as desired; use more water for lighter, translucent washes or less for concentrated tones. Allow layers to dry to permanence before adding additional glazing or details to prevent re-activation. Experiment on the paper you intend to use to gauge absorption and pigment behaviour.

Recommendations

For best results, use heavier, textured paper designed for watercolour to achieve full pigment dissolution and cleaner washes. Keep pencils capped in the tin to avoid damage, and sharpen with a high-quality sharpener to maintain fine points for detail work.
